Job Description:
Lucidiom, Inc. is seeking a Technical Support Representative. Our Support Team is top-rated in the imaging industry. As our front-line of communications with our customers, our Tech Support Reps build this reputation on a daily basis by providing top-notch customer service and excellent technical assistance to our wide ranging customer base. We're looking for someone outgoing and extremely personable, able to build a rapport with customers as you solve their issues over the phone.
Responsibilities:
• Providing technical support to entire Lucidiom customer base over the phone and the internet.
• Providing assistance to the Systems Integration and Support team.
• Configuring new kiosks (Windows XP computers).
• Testing new versions of software.
• Aiding in the order fulfillment process.
• Training customers to use the software both at the home office and out in the field.
• Assistance in equipment preparation for various events such as trade shows.
Requirements:
• Highly motivated and independent workers who are not shy at tackling tasks they do not immediately understand.
• Strong analytical, oral and written communication skills.
• Professional phone skills and ability to articulate technical problems effectively.
• Excellent working knowledge of Windows hardware and software.
• Good working knowledge of the Internet and setting up and troubleshooting basic networks.
• Experience with hardware and software installations.
• Experience in a tech support or help desk situation is a definite plus.
• Knowledge of some basic programming such as scripting and XML is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows 2000, XP Professional, and Office.
• Travel opportunities are guaranteed. (10-20%).
• BA/BS required.
• Must be a US citizen or legal permanent resident.
• Passport required.
