A Look at the Numbers |
Did you know that Lucidiom APM customers are seeing as much as 27 percent growth in their photo business
outside the 4x6 print? According to APM ProfitWatcher reports, many Lucidiom customers
are benefiting from the APM software’s ability to move seamlessly from 4x6 print selections
to enlargement orders within the same customer transaction. Encourage more enlargement
orders on your APMs through tailored marketing and special promotions and profit from it.

Dan’s Camera City Unveils DigiPrint Lounge |
Lucidiom joined industry friends in a store packed with customers on May 24 for the
unveiling of Dan’s Camera City’s DigiPrint Lounge® – a coffeehouse-style photofinishing
center featuring 13 Lucidiom Automated Photo Machines (APMs) that easily allow consumers
to add enlargements to their 4x6 order. The DigiPrint Lounge® also includes free wireless
Internet access (WiFi), a children’s entertainment center, wheelchair accessible ordering
stations, complimentary beverages, comfortable seating and reduced lighting.

Meet Lucidiom! |
Darryl Blackburn, Senior Software Developer
Darryl grew up in the Virginia countryside and attended a small high school near Harrisonburg. He is a 1998 graduate of Radford University with a
degree in computer science. Darryl started his career at Lockheed Martin and since then has spent most of his career integrating handheld devices
and creating middleware applications servers for commercial companies as well as the federal government. He came to Lucidiom from a small military
contractor in Reston, and has been quite happy to leave all the paperwork and red tape behind!
When he’s not indoors developing software for Lucidiom, you’ll either find Darryl outside running, hiking, camping or snow skiing (depending on the weather)
or in his basement tinkering with his new motorcycle. He’s also a world traveler who is planning his next trip to Africa or the Mediterranean.

Remote APMs:
With the Touch Prints APM, it’s easy to place kiosks in remote locations to increase your revenue. As long as you
can plug the kiosk into the internet, the APM Order Agent add-on will automatically transfer orders back to your lab
for printing via the Print Station software. Add APM Merchant Services and you can accept credit card payments at
the kiosk that are deposited directly into your existing merchant account.
