Even More Content...2008 Content Release 4 is Ready!

This 4th batch puts calendars (11x8.5, 12x12, 12x18) into categories for easier purchasing and contains new angled image spot layouts for 11x8.5 and 8x6 photo books. As well, the photo books used to only have black bordered photos, now we have added the choice of white borders as well. We have also introduced a new type of 11x8.5 and 8x6 photo book called the "No-Crop Quick Book." This means that photos maintain their original aspect ratio so are placed in their entirety on the page. We hope this option speeds things along for your customers, and a few less heads are trimmed in the process!

Use the Lucidiom Downloader to download the content installer (see next section...)

This update is not required. If you are happy with the content you have on your kiosks for the fourth quarter, you do not need to install this set, it just fattens up your offerings a bit.

Buy One EQ Pro software license and get one free. The EQ Pro software is the Luci (scrapbook pages, cards, wall art) and Folio (books, notepads, calendars, etc.) products combined. You can add this license to your APM even if you don't have a duplex printer, as it allows you to create simplex photo books using your minilab printer and Unibind MyPhotoBook Covers. Many retailers are choosing to start this way to get into the photo book business.

EQ Gifting is a free add-on to your APM kiosk. There are 700 photo gifts you can select to offer. Take the order at the kiosk, we will make the gift and return it to your store for pick up or ship it directly to the customer (however you want to set it up). Regularly Scheduled Maintenance, 1x/month

We would like to announce that we have scheduled a recurring maintenance window on the third Thursday night...well, technically, Friday morning since it is 1am-3am (Eastern Time)...of every month. The first one will be tonight, Thursday Nov 20th. The services that may be affected are Lab 50, Photo Finale Web, APM Order Agent and APM ProfitWatcher/APM Network website. The extent to which each service/site is affected (whether it is down or whether the maintenance being done can happen with the service/site up) depends on the update. We will make every effort to minimize downtime when it does need to occur. When your Photo Finale Web site is down, orders cannot be placed, but there will be a notice posted at the URL to notify your customers.
