2: Why do I need a Print Station?

If you have more than one APM, the Print Station can be used to manage the orders from multiple kiosks.

If you have an APM Photos License or are using remote Kiosks, the print station is required to collect the orders

If a single dye sub printer is to be shared between APMs, a print station is highly recommended for managing the orders.

3: What are the advantages of connecting my APM to the Internet?
Many. If the system is connected to the Internet, then you can take full advantage of the APM ProfitWatcher system. As the kiosk is used and orders are places, statistical data uploads to the APM ProfitWatcher site, where you can use your secure login connection to view the activity and usage of you APM(s) in real time. From this data reports can be run to help maximize usage and profitability of your APM systems. Also if you need any sort of technical support for configuration or otherwise, our support team can login to your machine and assist you.
4: How can I setup kiosks at remote locations and send orders back to my lab?

Using the APM Order Agent (aka APM Anywhere) service, your remote APMs can be configured with this add-on feature to upload to a machine running the Print Station at your lab. Or you can setup an FTP server on your own and configure your APM to upload to this FTP server where the Print Station at your printing lab can accept and print these orders.

You can add/delete/modify your products and features and printing methods using the Setup Wizard tool and the Configuration Manager.
6: Since I have my APMs connected to the Internet, should I load any sort of software to protect my system?

Please note, that in some instances certain ports can protocols will need to be opened to communicate with other devices such as minilab printers, etc.

9: I have several products that I want to display on my APM, but they are not on the pull down list of available products. How do I offer them?
Give support a call or email them the size you would like to offer. We can then create a product for you that will also show up on the APM ProfitWatcher so you can collect statistics on this as well.
10: What are the best ways I can upsell more prints with the APM?
Turn on the quick order options for every single screen. Offer price breaks. Set different pricing structures based on your fulfillment. If you have several APMs, set some up for express only and some up for those customers who like to spend time editing and manipulating the images for printing.
